Yachty Gras This unique event is held each year during the Mardi Gras season and features an amazing boat parade that begins at the Seabrook Channel and proceeds past the Kemah boardwalk, throwing beads to the revelers viewing the parade along the route. In addition to the parade, several parties take place prior to and after, including the best after party of all at Outriggers in Seabrook. Book your hotel or bed and breakfast now for a fantastic weekend of fun and revelry for the whole family. | Learn More Seabrook Lucky Trails Every year in March, Seabrook Lucky Trails is held on the Seabrook Trail System. This weekend-long event usually falls right around St. Patrick’s Day each year. Runners may sign up for various events such as a half marathon, full marathon, 2 person relay, and even a 1k for the beginners. This popular event is known for its enthusiastic volunteers, great goody bags, and an awesome post-race party. | Register and Learn More Texas Outlaw Challenge This four-day event is full of fun and exciting parties and activities focused on high-end performance boating. The Texas Outlaw Challenge has become a true “east meets west” party with many out-of-town performance boat friends enjoying the unforgettable Texas hospitality while supporting proceeds for local volunteer aquatic conservation efforts and other selected charities. | Registration and Event Information Keels and Wheels Concours D'Elegance The largest collection of classic cars and wooden boats in the United States is on display at the beautiful grounds of Lakewood Yacht Club in Seabrook the first weekend each May. Educational and awe-inspiring, Keels & Wheels is an event for spectators of all ages and is a great chance to immerse yourself in automotive and marine history. Attendees come from every corner of the U.S. and even Europe to see this spectacular and unique display of classic boats and automobiles. Of course, you can’t forget the famous Texas hospitality! | Purchase Tickets and Learn More Kid Fish Kids in kindergarten through 5th grade gather at beautiful Pine Gully Park every September to compete in this fishing tournament for tons of great prizes donated by local businesses. Overall longest fish prizes are given to boys and girls for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place as well as a prize for longest overall exotic fish. | Learn More Seabrook Saltwater Derby Sign up now for this fun-filled fishing tournament held at Cabo Clear Lake in Seabrook each fall. Over $1,000 in prize money is awarded during the derby. In addition to the awards, registrants may enjoy a hamburger lunch and refreshments plus have a chance to win door prizes and enter the Heaviest Flounder Pot. | Register Online Celebration Seabrook Set sail for the sixth annual Celebration Seabrook on October 10th, 2020 at Meador Park in Seabrook. This event celebrates coastal living and a love for the bay with music, wine, craft beer, gourmet food trucks, art, pets and more. Catch the island vibe and enjoy plenty of live music. Share a love of seafood cooking with demonstrations by Gulf coast culinary masters. Sip on fine wines and craft beers. It’s a day at the bay for the whole family! | Learn More Harvest Moon Regatta The Harvest Moon Regatta takes place every October at Lakewood Yacht Club. This race started in 1987 with 17 yachts and has grown every year. Over 250 yachts now take part in this majestic sailing race. The race organizers partner with Sail-A-Thon to help increase ovarian cancer awareness. | Learn More J/Fest Southwest Regatta This regatta is open to all J/Boat owners, their crew, family and friends and the race is held on Galveston Bay. The focus of J/Fest is to provide a regatta venue that is extra fun not only for the racers but their family and friends too. Easter Egg Hunt Join us for this community event held at Meador Park the Saturday prior to Easter each year. The City of Seabrook Parks & Recreation Department holds this great event for the children of Seabrook. This family event is free to the public and includes an Easter Egg Hunt, a moonwalk, children's activities, plus free hot dogs and refreshments. | Learn More 4th of July Kid's Parade Join us for this community event held every Fourth of July at Meador Park in Seabrook. All kids from the Seabrook community are invited to march in the parade that takes place on the trail outlining Meador Park. Children may ride their bikes or tricycles in the parade and after, they can enjoy several activities including face painting and a moonwalk. Free hot dogs and refreshments are also provided. | Learn More Share Your Christmas The City of Seabrook Employees’ Share Your Christmas began with a small group of City employees who recognized that there were families in the community that needed a little extra help during the holidays. With the assistance of a local attorney, the organization incorporated and became tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) in May 1989. | Learn More Breakfast with Santa Every December the City of Seabrook along with the Seabrook Rotary provides Breakfast with Santa for all of the children of Seabrook at the Seabrook Community House. Kids can enjoy a pancake breakfast and tell Santa what they want for Christmas! | Learn More Main Street Tree Lighting Join us for an evening full of holiday cheer, music and fun as we light the Seabrook Christmas Tree on the first Thursday of every December. Festivities take place on Main Street and include hot chocolate, cookies, vendors, musical performances by area schools and an appearance from Santa Claus escorted by our very own Seabrook Volunteer Fire Department! | Learn More Christmas Boat Lane Parade The Annual Christmas Boat Lane Parade takes place on a Saturday in December each year! Lighted and decorated boats of all sizes will parade from South Shore Harbour Marina and Nassau Bay Lagoon, through the Clear Creek Channel, out into Galveston Bay.
