NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE SEABROOK CITY COUNCIL WILL MEET ON TUESDAY APRIL 19, 2022 AT 6:00 PM IN THE CITY HALL CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 1700 1ST STREET, SEABROOK, TEXAS, TO DISCUSS, CONSIDER, AND IF APPROPRIATE, TAKE ACTION WITH RESPECT TO THE ITEMS LISTED BELOW.

NEW BUSINESS

5.1   Consider and take all appropriate action on Resolution 2022-12, "Denial of CenterPoint Distribution Cost Recovery Factor ("DCRF").  Gayle Cook, City Manager

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEABROOK, FINDING THAT CENTERPOINT ENERGY HOUSTON ELECTRIC, LLC’s APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL TO AMEND ITS DISTRIBUTION COST RECOVERY FACTOR PURUSANT TO 16 TEX. ADMIN. CODE § 25.243 TO INCREASE DISTRIBUTION RATES WITHIN THE CITY SHOULD BE DENIED; FINDING THAT THE CITY’S REASONABLE RATE CASE EXPENSES SHALL BE REIMBURSED BY THE COMPANY; FINDING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION IS PASSED IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW; REQUIRING NOTICE OF THIS RESOLUTION TO THE COMPANY AND LEGAL COUNSEL


5.2   Consider and take all appropriate action on a Shared Agency Agreement between the City of Seabrook and the City of League City as the Host Agency for Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) software with Motorola and authorize the City Manager to execute and sign the agreement.   This initial one-time cost for software is a budgeted item in an amount not to exceed $170,000.00 as an agency within consortium of cities.    Sean Wright, Chief of Police
