NOTICE OF REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE SEABROOK CITY COUNCIL WILL MEET ON TUESDAY MAY 16, 2017 AT 7:30 PM IN THE CITY HALL CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 1700 FIRST STREET, SEABROOK, TEXAS, TO DISCUSS, CONSIDER, AND IF APPROPRIATE, TAKE ACTION WITH RESPECT TO THE ITEMS LISTED BELOW.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 2014-06 APPROVING “OLD SEABROOK VILLAGE PUD”
LOCATED IMMEDIATELY EAST OF MEYER ROAD AND NORTH OF 1ST STREET, BY REVISING THE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (“PUD”) PLAN, REGULATIONS, RESTRICTIONS AND CONDITIONS (“PLAN”) ONLY IN RELATION TO THE “MASTER PLAN MINIMUM LOT WIDTH” FROM 30 FEET TO 40 FEET AND THE “MINIMUM MASTER PLAN LOT DEPTH” FROM 75 FEET TO 80 FEET; REDUCING THE OVERALL LOT YIELD FROM 112 TO 88 LOTS; RECONFIGURING THE STREET DESIGN; ALLOWING FOR TRADITIONAL FRONT ACCESSED GARAGES AND UNOBSTRUCTED BACK YARDS; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT OR IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $2,000 FOR EACH DAY OF VIOLATION OF ANY PROVISION HEREOF BY INCLUSION INTO THE CODE; AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY AND NOTICE

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL CITY STREET MAP OF THE CITY OF SEABROOK WHICH IS PART OF THE SEABROOK CITY CODE OF ORDINANCES, CHAPTER 75, "STREETS, SIDEWALKS, AND OTHER PUBLIC PLACES", ARTICLE 2, "STREETS", SECTION 75-26, "STREET NAMING AND NUMBERING MAP", BY RENAMING "7TH STREET" TO "BLUE DOLPHIN DRIVE", REQUIRING THAT THE "CITY STREET MAP" BE AMENDED TO REFLECT THIS CHANGE; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT OR IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY

THE CITY COUNCIL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO HEAR ANY OF THE ABOVE DESCRIBED AGENDA ITEMS THAT QUALIFY FOR AN EXECUTIVE SESSION IN AN EXECUTIVE SESSION BY PUBLICLY ANNOUNCING THE APPLICABLE SECTION NUMBER OF THE OPEN MEETINGS ACT, (CHAPTER 551 OF THE TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE) THAT JUSTIFIES EXECUTIVE SESSION TREATMENT.
