NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE SEABROOK CITY COUNCIL WILL MEET ON TUESDAY AUGUST 1, 2017 AT 7:00 PM IN THE CITY HALL CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 1700 FIRST STREET, SEABROOK, TEXAS, TO DISCUSS, CONSIDER, AND IF APPROPRIATE, TAKE ACTION WITH RESPECT TO THE ITEMS LISTED BELOW.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF THE CITY OF SEABROOK APPENDIX A, "COMPREHENSIVE ZONING," ARTICLE 4, "SPECIAL USE REGULATIONS", SECTION 4.15 "POINT OVERLAY DISTRICT REGULATIONS", BY ADDING SECTION 4.15.16 "UTILITY LOCATION"; PROVIDING A PENALTY IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $2,000 FOR VIOLATION OF ANY PROVISION HEREOF BY INCLUSION INTO THE CODE; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT OR IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF SEABROOK, CHAPTER 65, "PARKS, RECREATION AND MUNICIPAL FACILITIES", ARTICLE II, "PARKS GROUNDS AND FACILITIES", DIVISION 1, "GENERALLY" AND DIVISION 2, "REGULATIONS"; ARTICLE III, "MUNICIPAL FACILITIES AND VEHICLES", DIVISION 2, "SMOKING", SECTION 65-103; BY AMENDING AND UPDATING VARIOUS PARKS REGULATIONS; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY IN AN AMOUNT OF NOT MORE THAN $500.00 FOR VIOLATION OF ANY PROVISIONS HEREOF BY INCLUSION INTO THE CODE; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT OR IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY

3.2   Consider and take all appropriate action to authorize the Mayor to execute an agreement for Professional Auditing Services between the City of Seabrook and selected auditing firm, Belt Harris Pechacek, LLLP, in response to RFQ 2017-07, for the Fiscal Years ending September 30, 2017, 2018 and 2019, with the option to renew annually for the two subsequent fiscal years.  Fee estimates are $45,860 for 2017; $46,531 for 2018; and $47,216 for 2018. DISCUSSION ITEMS

ROUTINE BUSINESS

EXECUTIVE SESSION

6.1   Section 551.087
Conduct an executive session to discuss or deliberate potential incentives and related commercial/financial information that the City has received from a business prospect that the City seeks to have locate, stay or expand pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.087.  (Cook)    

THE CITY COUNCIL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO HEAR ANY OF THE ABOVE DESCRIBED AGENDA ITEMS THAT QUALIFY FOR AN EXECUTIVE SESSION IN AN EXECUTIVE SESSION BY PUBLICLY ANNOUNCING THE APPLICABLE SECTION NUMBER OF THE OPEN MEETINGS ACT, (CHAPTER 551 OF THE TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE) THAT JUSTIFIES EXECUTIVE SESSION TREATMENT.
