NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE SEABROOK CITY COUNCIL WILL MEET ON TUESDAY AUGUST 8, 2017 AT 5:30 PM IN THE CITY HALL CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 1700 FIRST STREET, SEABROOK, TEXAS, TO DISCUSS, CONSIDER, AND IF APPROPRIATE, TAKE ACTION WITH RESPECT TO THE ITEMS LISTED BELOW.

2.1   Consider and take all appropriate action on proposed Resolution 2017-17, "Canvass of the City of Seabrook Special Election held on July 29, 2017".  (Council)

A RESOLUTION AND ORDER CANVASSING THE RETURNS AND DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE CITY OF OFFICER SPECIAL ELECTION HELD ON JULY 29, 2017

2.2   Administer the Oath of Office and present Certificate of Election to newly elected Council Member Position 6.  (Judge Dick Gregg)  ***

2.3   Consider and take all appropriate action on the resolution of typographical errors in transcription of existing fees into the Master Fee Ordinance 2017-11, finding that prior existing codified fees shall control in case of typographical errors or conflicts with this Master Fee Ordinance, as provided in Section 6 of the ordinance.  (Cook)

THE CITY COUNCIL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO HEAR ANY OF THE ABOVE DESCRIBED AGENDA ITEMS THAT QUALIFY FOR AN EXECUTIVE SESSION IN AN EXECUTIVE SESSION BY PUBLICLY ANNOUNCING THE APPLICABLE SECTION NUMBER OF THE OPEN MEETINGS ACT, (CHAPTER 551 OF THE TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE) THAT JUSTIFIES EXECUTIVE SESSION TREATMENT.
