NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE SEABROOK CITY COUNCIL WILL MEET ON TUESDAY NOVEMBER 7, 2017 AT 7:00 PM IN THE CITY HALL CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 1700 FIRST STREET, SEABROOK, TEXAS, TO DISCUSS, CONSIDER, AND IF APPROPRIATE, TAKE ACTION WITH RESPECT TO THE ITEMS LISTED BELOW.

At this time we would like to listen to any member of the audience on any subject matter, whether or not that item is on the agenda.  All comments are limited to a maximum of four minutes for each speaker, shall be limited to city business or city-related business or matters of general public interest, and shall not include any personal attacks.   In accordance with the Open Meetings Act, members may not discuss or take action on any item that has not been posted on the agenda.  When your name is called, please come to the podium and state your name and address clearly into the microphone before making your comments.  Thank you.

CONSENT AGENDA

3.1   Approve a renewal of the agreement between the City of Seabrook and Poolsure for Sodium Hypochlorite, Sodium Bisulfite, and Sulfuric Acid to be used at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, Pelican Bay Swimming Pool, and the splash pad on Repsdorph Road at $0.94 per gallon of Sodium Hypochlorite, $1.64 per gallon of Sodium Bisulfite, and $2.99 per gallon of Sulfuric Acid, for a term to expire on June 7, 2018, with an option for a 12 month extension with the same pricing and terms.  (Padgett)

3.2   Approve a 12 month renewal of an Interlocal Agreement between the City of Seabrook and  Harris County for implementation of the TCEQ and EPA required watershed protection program public education portion of the 5 year MS4 permit, in an amount not to exceed $6,334.56.  (Padgett)

EXECUTIVE SESSION

6.1   Section 551.071
Conduct a closed executive session to consult with the City Attorney to receive legal advice on legal issues only associated with the Memorandum of Understanding Agreements between the City of Seabrook and the Port of Houston, property tax appraisal, assessment and revisions, and legal requirements for sale of property, as provided under Section 551.071 Texas Government Code.  (Cook)

OPEN SESSION

THE CITY COUNCIL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO HEAR ANY OF THE ABOVE DESCRIBED AGENDA ITEMS THAT QUALIFY FOR AN EXECUTIVE SESSION IN AN EXECUTIVE SESSION BY PUBLICLY ANNOUNCING THE APPLICABLE SECTION NUMBER OF THE OPEN MEETINGS ACT, (CHAPTER 551 OF THE TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE) THAT JUSTIFIES EXECUTIVE SESSION TREATMENT.
