The City of Seabrook and the Seabrook Volunteer Fire Department (SFVD) is reminding citizens to be careful when using fireworks during the upcoming Fourth of July holiday.
The Seabrook Police Department will be actively enforcing the NO FIREWORKS ORDINANCE. It is illegal to store, possess, or discharge fireworks within the city limits. Tickets will be written for violations of this ordinance and fines may range as high as $500. Fireworks will be seized from those who are found with them in their possession. Also be reminded that it is against the law to shoot fireworks on public roadways or along state highways.
