Full Road Closures

roads-closed-small

For the public safety of our community, please be advised that Todville Road between Hammer Street and 10th Street and Main Street between North Meyer Avenue and Todville Road are both currently closed to all vehicle traffic and these streets will remain closed for the remainder of the day and night until floodwaters recede; adjacent streets may also have limited or restricted access.

Residents may currently park at the Pelican Bay Swimming Pool and walk to their homes, however, at 7:00 p.m. tonight all access to these portions of Todville Road and Main Street may be restricted until tomorrow morning. Tides are expected to remain elevated and will continue to rise as high tides move in later this evening. Locally heavy rainfall between 10 to 12 inches is expected tonight and the combination of high tides and heavy rain will create a significant flood threat to low lying areas of Seabrook.

Please be advised EMS, fire and police services may be delayed when responding to flooded areas. Residents needing to leave or access their homes in this area should do so prior to the full street closure at 7:00 p.m. tonight.

We will continue to post updates online at www.seabrooktx.gov/beta in addition to FacebookTwitter and Nextdoor. For more information on road conditions check out our GIS Seabrook Emergency Web App (https://bit.ly/3mHWCcL).
