The City of Seabrook Office of Communications, Events and Community/Visitor Relations develops internal and external communications in addition to overseeing community initiatives, events and programs. Annual Events
The Communication Department works closely with Public Works and other departments to hold annual and special events throughout the year. These events include but are not limited to the: Easter Egg Hunt, 4th of July Kids' Parade, Kids' Fish, Celebration Seabrook, Movies in the Park and the Main Street Tree Lighting.

Event Sponsorships
If your organization is interested in holiday an event in Seabrook and believe the event will bring in overnight visitors to the city, then your event may be eligible to receive a sponsorship throughout Hotel Occupancy Tax Fund.

Special Event Permits
Do you plan on holding an event in Seabrook? If so then you may need to acquire a Special Event Permit from the City. Seabrook City Council has defined a special event as an event that is open to the public and an event that may have an impact on public safety.

Carothers Coastal Gardens
Carothers is an enchanted Spanish-heritage home situated on eight acres of beautiful landscaping and is available to rent for your special event. The Communication Department will assist you with all your rental needs.

Public Art and Community Projects
The Office of Communication oversees several special projects throughout the year including all public art and art promotions. This includes the Seabrook Pelican Path and Mini-Murals. In addition, the department manages the promotion and sale of brick and granite plaques at the Bay Area Houston Veterans Memorial.

Film Permits
The City of Seabrook is a Certified Film Friendly City and in order to receive their certification had to put in place a Filming Ordinance which requires any business or individual who wishes to film in the city for commercial purposes must obtain a Film Permit through the Office of Communication.

Tourism
The City of Seabrook is a partner with the BAHCVB and part of the Houston and Beyond program. We strive to work with area cities to help market the entire area.
