Public Art and Community Projects

The Office of Communication oversees several special projects throughout the year including all public art and art promotions. This includes the Seabrook Pelican Path and Mini-Murals. In addition, the department manages the promotion and sale of brick and granite plaques at the Bay Area Houston Veterans Memorial.

Mini-Mural at the Skate Park

Go back in time by visiting the Meador Park Skate Park. During the 2017 Celebration Seabrook event, Artists Shelbi Nicole painted a mini-mural live, that dates back to historic points in Seabrook's history. The Skate Park is the first of several mini-murals the city hopes to install around the city.
