NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A SEABROOK CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY MAY 23, 2023 AT 5:00 PM AT SEABROOK CITY HALL, 1700 1ST STREET, SEABROOK, TEXAS, TO DISCUSS, CONSIDER, AND IF APPROPRIATE, TAKE ACTION WITH RESPECT TO THE ITEMS LISTED BELOW.

CONSENT AGENDA

3.1   Approve an amendment to the Incentive Agreement between the Seabrook Economic Development Corporation and Seabrook Marina to include an active lease for tenant prior to disbursement of the approved incentive.    This amendment was approved by the Seabrook EDC on April 13, 2023.    Paul Chavez, Director of Economic Development

CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP)

4.1    Presentation, discussion and possible recommendation to City Council on potential projects for a proposed 2023 Bond Program for a November 2023 Bond Election.      Gayle Cook, City Manager, Sean Landis, Deputy City Manager, Mike Gibbs, Director of Finance, Kevin Padgett, Director of Public Works, and Randall Scott, AIA, Randall Scott Architects.

NEW BUSINESS

5.1   Consider and take all appropriate action on a contract between the City of Seabrook and Ford AV for Installation of new Audio/Visual Equipment in Council Chamber, in an amount not to exceed $141,392.00 from the Public, Educational, and Governmental (PEG) Funds.       LeaAnn Petersen, Director of Public Affairs

THE CITY COUNCIL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO HEAR ANY OF THE ABOVE DESCRIBED AGENDA ITEMS THAT QUALIFY FOR AN EXECUTIVE SESSION IN AN EXECUTIVE SESSION BY PUBLICLY ANNOUNCING THE APPLICABLE SECTION NUMBER OF THE OPEN MEETINGS ACT, (CHAPTER 551 OF THE TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE) THAT JUSTIFIES EXECUTIVE SESSION TREATMENT.


Pursuant to Texas Government Code Sec. 551.127, on a regular, non -emergency basis, members may attend and participate in the meeting remotely by video conference. Should that occur, a quorum of the members will be physically present at the location noted above on this agenda.
