On Sunday, May 9, 2021, at approximately 10:12 p.m., the Seabrook Police Department, Seabrook EMS and the Seabrook Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to an automobile accident at the Repsdorph Traffic Circle in Seabrook, Texas.
Upon arrival, first responders discovered a white Dodge Charger that had collided into a north exterior wall of the Seabrook CVS Pharmacy located at 2242 Repsdorph Road. The vehicle was occupied by two females who had to be extracted from the vehicle by the Seabrook Volunteer Fire Department. Both occupants were transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
The initial investigation indicates that the driver failed to properly navigate the Repsdorph Traffic Circle while traveling at an excessive speed, thus losing control of the vehicle, entering the CVS parking lot and striking an exterior wall of the business.
There were no other injuries reported. The Seabrook CVS Pharmacy suffered moderate damage to the exterior facade and plans to open on Monday, May 10, 2021.
The identification of the vehicle occupants is not being released pending notification to their families. The investigation is active and ongoing. The Pasadena Police Department is actively assisting with the investigation.
