How to Resolve Your Warrant(s)

The Seabrook Municipal Court is considered a “Safe Harbor” and NO person with an active warrant, who voluntarily appears in the court or at the court office window to resolve their case, will be arrested. 

Arrest Warrants

Arrest warrants are issued for individuals who received a citation and a court date, but failed to appear when scheduled or make arrangements to take care of the violation(s). Arrest warrants are bondable.

OPTIONS on how to resolve your arrest warrant(s)

If you have an arrest warrant(s) these are your options if you are wanting to enter in a plea of No Contest or Guilty:
  • Pay in full to close your case out immediately either online or in person.
  • If you are unable to pay in full, you can request a payment plan.
  • You may contact the court to be placed on an ancillary docket.

Options if you are wanting to contest your arrest warrant(s)

If you have an arrest warrant(s) these are your options if you are wanting to contest your citation:
  • You may post a cash bond for the full amount of your fine to clear your warrants and receive a new court date to appear before a judge. You must post a cash bond by appearing in person.
  • You may post a surety bond by calling a bail bond company for the full amount of your fine to clear your warrants and receive a new court date to appear before a Judge. 

CAPIAS PRO-FINE WARRANTS

Capias Pro-Fine warrants are issued for defendants who received a violation, have been found guilty by the court, and failed to fulfill the direction of the court. Capias Pro-Fine warrants are issued following a show-cause hearing and are not bondable.

OPTIONS ON HOW TO RESOLVE YOUR CAPIAS PRO-FINE WARRANT(S)

  • Pay in full to close your case out immediately either online or in person.
  • If you can pay half the total amount, you can request a payment plan for the balance.
  • You may contact the court to be placed on an Ancillary docket.

Subject to Arrest

If you have warrants, you are subject to being arrested. Officers may arrest you at your home or place of business.
