Summer, a native Houstonian and proud Sam Houston State University graduate with two undergraduate degrees and an MBA, lives in Seabrook with her husband, a Dean at the University of Houston-Clear Lake, and their two dogs. With a passion for leadership, team development, and philanthropy, she led large teams in corporate America before embracing her entrepreneurial spirit. She founded The Women’s Whiskey Society, hosting whiskey-centric events across Houston, and owns Whiskey In The City, specializing in corporate events and fundraisers, including a recent success benefiting St. Jude. Summer serves on the board of Seabrook’s Economic Development Corporation, liaising with the Economic Alliance Houston Port Region and engaging with the Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership (BAHEP). She is a member and volunteer with the Seabrook Association, Yachty Gras, and the Seabrook Saltwater Derby, and previously served on the board of The Executive Women’s Alliance and The Sam Houston Alumni Association.
