- Little Free Library
A Little Free Library is a “take a book, return a book” gathering place where the community can share their favorite literature and stories. In its most basic form, the Little Free Library is a box full of books where anyone may stop by and pick up a book and leave a book to share.
Seabrook’s Little Library has been relocated to City Hall, which is a great quiet place to read. This unique project is managed by the Open Space Trails Committee and is a great addition to the Seabrook community.
The City of Seabrook would like to say a special thank you to Elaine Hernandez who not only suggested the idea but also with the help of her husband, built the Little Free Library. The Little Free Library concept originated in Hudson, Wisconsin in 2009 and has rapidly increased in popularity in the northern states.
