Share Your Christmas

The City of Seabrook Employees’ Share Your Christmas began with a small group of City employees who recognized that there were families in the community that needed a little extra help during the holidays. With the assistance of a local attorney, the organization incorporated and became tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) in May 1989.

Over the past 26+ years, Share Your Christmas has held numerous fundraisers and food drives so we could provide food, clothing, toys, and essentials to as many families as possible. We typically help 30-35 families and 75 or more children each year.  None of this would be possible without the generous donations we receive from individuals, companies, and other organizations.

Stars and Food Donation boxes will in the lobby during the week of Thanksgiving.

Unwrapped gifts should be dropped of by December 14th

There will be a Christmas tree in the lobby of City Hall and our Public Works facility decorated with stars containing each child’s age, gender, and a suggested (or sometimes requested) item. Please feel free to stop in and select a star from the tree. Then just purchase the item requested and return it unwrapped along with the star to the Public Works Animal Control complex or City Hall by December 14th. After-hours gift donations will also be accepted at the Police Department. This will give us ample time to sort and distribute everything to all the families before Christmas. Just be sure to register your star by scanning the unique QR code for each child. It’s that simple!

All donations are tax-exempt and  a receipt for tax purposes can be provided upon request. We also accept donations in the form of cash and checks which allow us to purchase perishable items, gift cards for clothing and other necessities for the families.

All donations are greatly appreciated! For more information email share@seabrooktx.gov

Unfortunately, Share Your Christmas can not accept requests. Please reach out to other local charities for assistance.
